SFFCPF recently held Board Elections. Congratulations to long-time Board member FF Adam Wood, Rescue2 on his election to the position of VP vacated by Keith Onishi. Re-elected to their offices were President Tony Stefani, Treasurer Gary Massetani, and Secretary Kailin Waterman.
Adam stepped onto the Board in 2014 following the passing of FF David Amituanai to carry on David’s fight against cancer in the fire service. During his time on the Foundation Board, Adam has been a leader in the fight for preventative measures, speaking about Cancer Prevention before the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the California State Building Commission, and has assisted firefighters in other states fight for some of the preventative measures that have been won in San Francisco.
