Chad Lowe
Emmy Award Winning Actor
Chad Lowe is an Emmy Award winning actor and accomplished director. As an actor he has appeared extensively in film, television, and theatre. Chad was awarded the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor for his work on the ABC television drama series Life Goes On. He played John Denver in Take Me Home: The John Denver Story. He starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones in the Hallmark Hall-Of-Fame movie April Morning, and played Elizabeth Taylor’s son in the mini-series There Must Be A Pony. Chad stared in the hit series Pretty Little Liars, for which he, also, directed multiple episodes. Other notable credits include recurring roles on ER, 24, and Supergirl. In film, Chad stared in Nobody’s Perfect, the cult classic Highway To Hell, and Adrian Lyne’s Unfaithful opposite Richard Gere and Diane Lane. Most recently, Chad had a recurring role on the hit FOX series 9-1-1: Lone Star, a show he also directs.
Behind the camera, Chad has directed over 60 hours of television. Notable credits include Law & Order SVU, Bones, Brothers and Sisters, Life In Pieces, The Flash, 911, and 911 Lone Star. His feature film debut, which he also produced, Beautiful Ohio starred William Hurt and Rita Wilson. The film was purchased and released by I.F.C. Chad is active in development of future projects. Currently, he has a reboot of Life Goes On set up at NBC.
Chad is a member of the Leadership Council for Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, which works to preserve and protect human rights around the world. He is, also, a member of the Leadership Circle for the Waterkeeper Alliance, a global movement of community based advocates who work to protect the rights of all people for clean, healthy, and abundant water. A proud “girl dad,” Chad lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kim and their three daughters.
