RAISING FUNDS FOR SFFCPF
IN MEMORY OF LESLIE MARTINI O’NEILL
Ellie O’Neill and Mary Casey created Martinis On The Run in 2024 to honor Leslie Martini O’Neill, wife of retired SFFD Lieutenant Dennis O’Neill, Ellie’s mom, and Mary’s best friend. Leslie was a vibrant, loving presence who passed away in June 2023. Last year, their team of 26 runners completed the Golden Gate Half Marathon and 5K, raising nearly $5,000 for the S.F. Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation. As nurses, cancer survivors, and members of the SFFD family, Ellie and Mary felt the Foundation was the perfect way to honor her legacy. This year, more than 40 runners will participate on November 2, 2025, hoping to surpass last year’s goal. Thank you for supporting their cause and honoring Leslie’s memory.
