Board Director and Station One FF, Kailin Waterman, accepts a check from Tony Vitello, co-founder and owner of Thrasher Magazine and a relative of a Station One Alleycat. Thrasher, a skateboarding magazine founded in 1981, opened a shop on the Jessie Street Alley near the old Station One South of Market. Thrasher’s skateboarding fans also adopted the handle Alley Cats. This generous donation is from the proceeds of sales of t-shirts created with Thrasher/SFFD Alleycat logos to celebrate their shared history, which completely sold out.
